I have a U87 AI . In a recording sesion the mic shut off during use , then come back on again. It seemed to happen when the person would sing a word with a p or a popping sound. however after that it was not defined what would cause it to die. When the problem first happened i moved the patern switch and it quit for a while. I guess i will send it in for repair. Has this happened to anybody?
