Hello.
I own 2 Neumann U47´s, i have recently had both mics overhauled. The caps in the original power supplies were changed, some cables in the actual mics were replaced (same cables in both) and i belive that one of the tube connetctor/holder was changed.
I used both as stereo overheads on a drum session this weekend , and after being turned on all day the warmth of the mic shell was very different between the 2 mics. On was significally warmer. So my question is, is this normal?? Can the heat of 2 u47´s be different?? Both mics have the VF14 tube.
Any input would be great!!
