Re: M49 couple of questions

If you want to use the N52 in AC-environments other than 220V, you need a step-down transformer between the N52 and the wall, as the N52 accepts only 220 VAC.
3. There is no provision for audio-outputs on the N52- you have to wire up an XLR-solution from scratch.
For these reasons, I suggest you hand over your N52 to specialists (in your case, in Germany?) who rack-mount N52 professionally. This may be cheaper, more convenient and safer that starting from scratch.
'i need something to mount the mic on a stand. the originals are hard to find and very expensive. are there other possibilities to mount the m49 ?'
Most people use one of three alternative mounting solutions for the M49 when the original mounts are not available (Skipper Wise/B.L.U.E. still sells a very well-made and quite expensive copy of the original M49 horseshoe-mount):
A. Hang the mic from the cable- this works, because the connector has good strain relief, and the (original) cable is thick enough to support the weight.
B. Alter a U47 elastic suspension mount- here you remove the two inner tightening bands with the spring-locks and the elastic bands, and replace this arrangement with tie-wraps that permanently affix the mic in the mount. Not very elegant, but it works well for aiming the mic, which solution A. does not.
C. Find a suitable aftermarket clip-mount with an inner diameter of ca. 36-40mm and mount the mic at the connector. whose outer diameter is 36mm. Audio-Technica and others make inexpensive versions mic mounts that will accept mics of that diameter. Your ability to aim horizontally with this solution may be limited because the friction-adjustment of the articulation in the clip may be overtaxed with the mic's weight.
Good luck with your M49. Please report back here, what mounting solution ended up working for you!
