TLM 103 distortion

I know it's been discussed here before.
I am using TLM 103s as tom mics on a drum kit. On some floor tom hits there is distortion on the track. I'm using Focusrite Red preamps, and you can dial down the gains and run line levels into them no problem without distortion, so I don't think it's the preamps. There was no digital clipping either. That just leaves the mic.
What is the limit to what these mics can physically take before the capsule distorts audibly? It's hard to believe even a close-miked floor tom is hitting 130 dB SPL, but I guess it's possible that the transient spike is strong enough to bottom out the diaphragm.
