U87 differences in gain (non AI)


Author: martin lucas Send Email Date: 11/18/2008		I have a 1979 U87 and a 1983 U87. Both sound great, but the 79 has much less gain. Why is that? Can it be a capsule or capsule cleaning issue? Thanks.
