Audio interface for use with TLM 193
Author: Bart SAERENS

Hi all.
I bought a TLM 193 for home use (Radio/TV Voice Overs).
I'd like to use an audio interface to connect the mic to my computer.
To be sure to capture the Neumann quality as good as possible, I'd like to get some advice on choosing the right interface.
Would a TC Electronic Konnekt Live, a Presonus or Lexicon (with DBX preamp) FireWire or USB interface be a good idea?
Or is it better to use a separate preamp or channel strip like a DBX one with digital output and connect it to a digital input on the computer's audio device?
Anyone experienced with these brands?

I'm also wondering if it's better to record as clean as possioble and do some tweaking with software plugins in post production or should I always use the settings of the external channel strip to find the best sound?

Many thanks in advance ...
