TLM49 Question

Hello, I am setting up a home-based recording studio for a female V.O. Artist. This is only for the spoken word of one female V.O. artist, so my needs are pretty specific.. Of course, unfortunately cost is a factor. I'm thinking of the TLM 49, RME babyface interface , into our DAW. Should that get me off to a good clean start? She spoke through the TLM 103 on a M-Audio fast Track interface and it was a bit thin, weak, bright. I'm hoping the TLM49 with the better interface will kick things up a notch. Also, my room is "pretty quiet". not perfectly quiet. Maybe I should look at less sensitive mics.? I have a Sennheiser 421 but I'm told V.O's and audio books require a good quality condenser. Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you all. This forum has been very educational for me.
