Hello,

comparing TLM49 and TLM103, the 103 would be slightly brighter, by one dB or two. The "warmth" factor depends on distance; the 103 has quite some proximity effect, but perhaps the 49s less pronounced proximity effect makes it more versatile regarding distance between mic and mouth.

A 3rd alternative would be the TLM193, with neutral to "under-neutral" top end. In any case, auditioning the mics is always recommended.

Regarding dynamic vs. condenser, the way to go would be a condenser's linear response and typically tight polar pattern, and then rolling off the ends of the spectrum that are not needed; e.g. below 100-120 Hz for a higher female voice.
