Next month I must record a group of 8 people in a church. 6 of them play traditional instrument tamburica (like banjo or mandolin ) one play acoustic bass and one sing..it will be session without public...one day for recording of 40 minutes of music,so i think it will be some time for experiment...i will use 8 siemens telefunken preamps v276 one millenia stt1 voice processor and TLaudioeq1 stereo preamp....I have 6km84 for spot mics on every tambura ,one km254c for uper mic for acc bas (on fingers ) and one lower mic (maybe re20,audixd6,atm2500 od d112 or old akg d25..i own them ) on the f hole...I will put the players in semicircle and in the midle set sm69 fet ( maybe in xy carioid? or 2x OMNI or? )..for singer i have one u67..and somenting i dont have,i plain to buy 2 omni mikes for recording ambient and reverb in church (where to put them?)..i will be wery happy if i dont have to use digital reverbs in mix lately...\daw is EMU PARIS i dave 16 24 bit chanels...please your advice, and sorry for my English..
