the KMS 105 now exists for almost 10 years, so it's clear that it is much more known than the KMS 104 variant.

The difference is not in the circuit topology, only in the capsule + pop shielding, most noticeable when you use it very close, touching the grille with the lips. In that position, the KMS 104 gives a bit more low bass, and the internal foam windscreen is a bit more effective. The KMS 105 is slightly more sibillant (10kHz range).

Both mics will be finely suited for your application. That still leaves you with the final decision, I'm afraid.
