Classical Guitar

KM184 mics were highly recommended to me for recording classical guitar, so I bought a pair. Unfortunately, I then discovered that it was actually a similar but discontinued model, the KM84, that was so highly regarded.
After searching this site, I learned that the main difference is a peak at around 8-9000. I don't know if this is a problem or not.
Is there another Neumann mic that more closely matches the response of the KM84, or should I just learn the best way to use what I now have? I will be recording to analog tape.
I also have some other larger mics (U87Ai, U89, M149) available to me, but I have been told these are not the best choice for classical guitar.
(I am not able to experiment with any of them right now, but would like to be prepared when I am ready.)
I'd appreciate any advice.
