Hi Juan Carlos,

Martin copied your files to me to listen to as well - as I have the same rig as you (though I use a Nagra VI instead of a V).

I listened carefully using a Grace m903 monitor controller (with excellent DAC) and Sennheiser HD 800 headphones (about 3,000 in the UK).

I did hear a sort of "metallic" sound in places, a sort of "rasping" I suppose. But it was extremely difficult to suggest a cause.

It could even be acoustic, but that would not be my first suggestion.

How did you power the DMI-2P? I was wondering if maybe the PSU was not supplying quite enough current ???

When I use mine, I set -18dBFS as the 0VU point and I have yet to use more than 25dB of gain on the KM-D.

But I cannot really give any concrete suggestions - it may even be something in the Nagra V - though I could not be sure.

I would certainly also suggest sending the links to John Owens at Nagra to see if he could suggest anything.

The music sounds wonderful, by the way.
