Re: induced buzz

Unfortunately it is necessary to use the wireless. It seems to be a trend that shows will not pay for sound assistants and therefore there is not time to keep rerouting and dressing cables that are hardwired. I would definately prefer to hardwire.

I have already tried the EMC-series of neutrix connectors with no success.

The 150 is being used without the collette cable inbetween the capsule and KM100 preamp. It is mounted in a rycote suspension like the 81 and then a short mic cable going down the boom pole to the plug on Lectro Tx. Same setup on the 81.

I will try the hardwired thing to see if the buzz goes away in that configuration just for curiosity sake, though I will usually not be able to employ that set up, unfortunately.

I also use a Sanken CS3-e in the wireless configuration and have no induced buzz, EVER, in situations where there was one present when the 81 was on the stick.

None of my cables have the shell of the neutrix attached to pin 1 ground though. Shouldn't matter though?? Thanks for your help...
