I am a professional singer and piano player. I'm looking at purchasing either the KMS 104 or 105 for my vocal and am wondering which polar pattern would better suit my usual performing environment.
I always sit at the piano and sing, and usually have a foldback wedge on the floor at my right side (usually perpendicular to the piano). The music is jazz and blues so nothing too crazy in terms of volume, though we do get relatively loud at points having horns and drums in the band.
I know generally the supercardiod is better at reducing feedback, but considering I have the piano open in front of me, would you recommend the cardiod? Or would the super-c be better if I have foldback at the sides?
