Dear Mr. Kocourek,

first of all, I should naturally mention that opening brand new equipment is not really recommended (warranty....). Still, I can understand that you would prefer not to have to send the microphone.

One thing you can check:
- make a bridge at the N149V mic connector, between pins 2+5. The N149V then thinks there is a microphone connected, and you should be able to measure all the voltages.

Note: the two-step lighting up of the lamp etc. is for the N149A only. The N149V just lights up constantly.
