Hi, My TLM103 seems to cut out when it gets too many SPL's. I spoke with John Peluso who recommended I change the capsule - which I did - but the problem still exists. When the mic cuts out, there is no audio signal, just a mild, even static.
After I let it sit for a few seconds the mic returns to functioning 100% normally.
The SPL level would equate to voltage on the PCB I assume and there may be a component that isn't handling it correctly? The capacitors look ok to me.
I now assume the problem is somewhere on the PCB board. Thanks for any thoughts. |
