KMS85i conversion to KM85i

I have had a KSM85i for many years, but the rubber rings that isolate and hold what is essentially a KM85i inside of the KMS85i body tube gave out many years ago.
I am sure that this is a common issue because that rubber was only going to last for so many years.

My solution was to extract the KM85i and use it as just what it is.
I took a couple of wire ties and secured the KMS85i end plug with the XLR connector onto the body tube (it is larger in diameter than the KM85i body tube.)
I have used the mic this way for over ten years, but it is a bit fragile.

WHAT I AM WONDERING IS IF THE RUBBER MOUNTING RINGS FOR THE KMS85i SYSTEM IS AVAILABLE.
or....
IF I COULD PURCHASE A KM85i TYPE BODY TUBE.

There is also a possibility that if I extract the circuitboard and modify it I could get the XLR to mount into the KM85i body tube.
The KM85i might have an extra ring that fits at the end of the body tube which extends the length of the body.
I would also not have the pad since that hole DOES NOT have a switch in it.
I CAN LIVE WITH THAT BECAUSE I HAVE USED THE MIC WITHOUT A PAD FOR ALL THESE YEARS AS IT IS.

Any ideas?
