Hi everybody
I'm new in the forum. I own a M49.
The PSU is a N52a but it has not the usual tuchel connector in the back side, it has the cable that comes out directly from he box. Last week I've tried to use it but and the microphone didn't work anymore. I decided to replace the connector and the cable with a 7 pole xlr because I found a wire broken. During the internal check I found the voltage of the heater which is more than 6,3volts. instead of 4,4volts as describe on the schematics.
Somebody in the forum has ever found a problem like this? Maybe the voltage was fitted for another kind of microphone? How can I dimishing the voltage in order to keep the ac701 alive?
Best regards
