German Songwriting Awards Entry Giveaway” contest on Neumann's Instagram account

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION AND DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION 

From December 12, 2025, to January 12, 2026, you have the opportunity to participate in the “GSA Entry Giveaway” contest according to the terms and conditions described here. 

A. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS 

1.Organiser
 
This competition is organised by Georg Neumann GmbH, Leipziger Straße 112, 10117 Berlin (organiser). The competition is not affiliated with Meta, and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Meta. 
 
2. Eligibility 
 
All persons of legal age with an Instagram account are eligible to participate, unless participation is prohibited by applicable state law. Employees of the organizer or companies commissioned by the organizer and their relatives are excluded from participation. Participation is only possible once. 
 
The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition who violate the conditions of participation or common decency and/or otherwise attempt to influence the prize draw in an unfair and/or dishonest manner. 
 
3. Procedure 

Participants must like the contest post on Neumann's Instagram channel and leave a comment that includes “GSA Giveaway.” They must also subscribe to Neumann's channel and the German Songwriting Awards (“GSA”) channel. 
Entries in the form of comments with different content will not be considered. 
Five winners will be selected from the valid entries in accordance with section 5 on January 13, 2026. 
 
 
4.  Participation time period and place
The contest will run from December 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to January 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. on Neumann's Instagram channel. 
 
5. Winner determination procedure
All comments received by the deadline will be reviewed, compiled, and five winners will be selected at random using a random generator. If these winners meet all the conditions of participation (liking, commenting, and subscribing), they will be declared the winners. 
 
6. Prize
Five codes will be raffled off. 
The winners will each receive a code that can be redeemed for a free entry ticket to the German Songwriting Awards. Participation in the German Songwriting Awards is subject to the rules and conditions of participation of GSA and is not affiliated with Neumann. 
 
7. No dependence on payments
Participation in the competition is not conditional upon any purchase from or payment to the organiser. A purchase or payment does not affect the chances of winning. 
 
8. Data protection
In the context of conducting the competition, personal data will be processed in accordance with the data protection information below (see B.). 
 
9. Acceptance of the participation conditions
By participating in the competition, participants declare that they agree with the participation conditions. 
 
10. Liability
The organiser is liable for intent and gross negligence. In case of slight negligence, the organiser shall only be liable in the event of a breach of an essential contractual obligation (cardinal duty) whose fulfilment is a prerequisite for the proper execution of the contract and whose observance the participant may regularly rely on, as well as in the event of damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. 
 
11. Premature cancellation or interruption
The organiser reserves the right to interrupt or prematurely cancel the competition if there is a good reason to do so. In particular, compelling legal reasons, such as official orders, changes in the law or other reasons for refusing to hold the competition shall be deemed to constitute good reasons for such a course of action in this regard. 
 
12. Applicable law, severability clause
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the competition described above shall be governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the exclusion of both the conflict of laws and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from or in connection with these participation conditions is Hanover. Should one of the clauses of this agreement be or become invalid, the rest of the agreement shall remain unaffected. 
 
 
 
B. DATA PRIVACY STATEMENTS
 
The following personal data may be processed by Georg Neumann GmbH, Leipziger Straße 112, 10117 Berlin when conducting the competition: 
  • Master data (e.g. first name, surname)
  • Address data (e.g. street, postal code)
  • Contact data (e.g. telephone number, e-mail address) 
  • Individual data associated with the respective competition, especially the Instagram username. 
     

This processing is carried out on the basis of the execution and fulfilment of the contractual objectives that follow from the competition [article 6 section 1 lit. b) of the GDPR]. Insofar as personal data of the winner is disclosed on the Instagram profile of Georg Neumann GmbH, this shall only take place in the presence of a previously-obtained, express consent of the winner pursuant to article 6 section 1 lit. a) of the GDPR. 
 
The data collected from the participant will be used by the organiser exclusively to carry out the competition, in particular to determine and notify the winner and to send the prizes. 
 
The personal data will not be used for purposes other than those described here or passed on to third parties. In particular, the data collected will not be used for other marketing purposes. 
 
The participant's personal data that has been collected will be deleted as soon as the purpose of the processing has been achieved. Due to legal requirements, different retention periods may apply. 
As covered persons, the participants have the following additional rights vis-à-vis Georg Neumann GmbH: 
  • Right to information – The right to know what data is being processed and how.
  • Right to rectification – The right to request that inaccurate and out-of-date personal data be amended.
  • Right to erasure – The right to have personal data erased-
  • Right to restrict processing – The right to restrict a data processing operation.
  • Right to data portability – The right to transfer personal data directly from one system to another (in machine-readable form).
  • Right of objection – Under the conditions of article 21 of the GDPR, participants have the right to object to the data processing at any time.
