KMS 104 plus为舞台演出带来了录音棚音质。与使用动圈话筒头的普通舞台话筒不同，KMS 104 plus配备有可以提供超级纯净音质的真电容话筒头，这种音质让诺音曼录音棚话筒闻名于世。同时，KMS 104 plus具有舞台话筒所需的坚固性，从而反驳了电容话筒一定“脆弱”的偏见。KMS 104 plus可以在不削波的情况下承受高达150 dB的极大声压级，并且在反馈啸叫之前能达到极高的增益。KMS 104 plus具有比动圈话筒更为平滑的频率响应和更具空气感的高频响应。与动圈话筒相比KMS 104 plus具有极佳的瞬态响应，可以产生更直接、更有感情的声音。从实用角度来说：无须使用均衡器即可实现高清晰度——这也进一步改善了反馈啸叫的问题。

作为舞台话筒，为满足近距离拾音的要求，KMS 104 plus进行了优化，固定的低切滤波器也会补偿近讲效应并确保清晰的低音。与KMS 104相比，KMS 104 plus更加强调低音区（100-150 Hz），从而为声音提供更多“重量”和“温暖感”，如果使用KMS 104演唱时听起来太“单薄”，那么Plus版将是很好的选择。

其头部罩网采用硬化钢制成，内部还有海绵防风罩。除了高效的防风作用，还能起到防止潮湿唾液侵蚀话筒头的效果。得益于诺音曼的精密设计，这些声学滤网不会对声音清晰度产生任何有害影响。前置放大器由厚实的话筒外壳保护。其无变压器输出可以最大限度地减少电磁干扰（如嗡嗡声）。由于其仅为50欧姆的较低输出阻抗，KMS 104 plus可以驱动长达300 m (1000 ft) 的长电缆，而且不会产生传输损耗。

应用

KMS 104 plus专门设计为一款手持式人声话筒，但是由于其较高的声压承受能力和宽广的动态范围，该系列话筒也可用于其他舞台拾音。例如打击乐器、萨克斯管、小号、长号、口琴、原声吉他和吉他音箱。由于其超高的音质，KMS 104 plus也是家庭录音和广播应用的绝佳选择。由于KMS 104 plus已针对靠近话筒的位置进行了优化，因此它可拾取真实的声音，并不受周围环境的影响，这在未经处理的房间中是一个很大的优势。
