Venue Mission empowers musicians, in bands or orchestras, to customize their monitor mixes for live performances using a 16-channel mixer with intuitive functions.

The Venue Mission is designed for multiple users and is the ideal choice for applications across a broad spectrum of scenarios, from orchestral live performances to complex band monitor setups, smaller bands operating without a monitor engineers, orchestral studio recording sessions and even speaking booths or ADR studios.

Performers can enjoy direct access to their tailored monitoring mixes while microphones and instruments inputs can be shared across the network, enabling remote control and monitoring by the PA mixer, monitor engineer or recording engineer.

Customisable

The Venue Mission is highly customizable ensuring musicians only see what is relevant and preventing confusion. The number of channels, naming and colours can be selected for maximum clarity.

Access to treatments such as EQ, Dynamics and Reverb can be open or restricted on a per unit basis, so that any workflow is possible.

One Anubis – Two Musicians

With its two high-grade microphone preamps and two high-quality headphones, one Anubis running the Venue Mission can serve two musicians.

One Anubis can in fact serve up to 4 different mixes, using its two headphone outputs in addition to its 2 built in stereo line outputs (for example feeding stage monitors).

Special care has been taken to prevent musicians from accidentally altering each other's settings. (Protections and restrictions are configurable by the engineer.)

Communication

Venue Mission also provides a built-in communication system.
Anubis units on the network automatically discover each other. Various communication channels can then be configured to allow relevant groups of people to talk or hear each other. An automixer is used behind the scenes to ensure anyone talking is heard at a comfortable level.

(Anubis Venue Mission is available on both the Dante and Ravenna/AES67 firmware. The communication feature is however only available with the Anubis RAVENNA/ AES67 firmware. Customers needing communication and running Anubis in a Dante network are advised to use the RAVENNA/ AES67 firmware and configure their other Dante devices in AES67 mode, or use a Merging Hapi to interface a console’s MADI connection to Ravenna.)

Deployment and control

Anubis firmware updates, configuration, and controls are fully accessible from the network, making deployment easy.

A remote control software showing the Anubis UI presented to the musician is available in order for the engineer to best understand the musician’s reality and take over controls at any moment without a glitch.

Crafted through progressive development and valuable insights from the live and touring industry, the Venue Mission stands firm on its three core principles: unparalleled comfort, unwavering reliability, and peak efficiency.
